Elementary School Milk Program – The Ontario Elementary School Milk Program, which ensures that Ontario students enjoy the nutritional benefits of cold, fresh milk at lunch every day, has been operating for 25 years and is administered by Dairy Farmers of Canada. The program runs in 2,800 schools representing 70% of all schools in the province. Run by volunteers in each school, the program provides turnkey administrative support, financing for school fridges, educational materials, promotional materials and contests. The program offers many rewarding benefits. Milk gives children nutrition that improves concentration, energy-levels & learning performance. Parents enjoy the assurance that there is a healthy lunch drink option at school. And, it fosters school spirit and offers senior students hands-on experience.

Ontario Agri-Food EducationOntario Agri-Food Education builds awareness and understanding of the importance of the agriculture and agri-food system by providing educational programs and resources for all Ontario students and teachers.

Farm and Food Care OntarioFarm and Food Care Ontario has a number of on-line resources, including Virtual Tours of dairy farms and the Animal Agriculture Photo Library. The photo library provides those in agriculture, education, teachers, students and media an opportunity to access accurate, up-to-date photographs of Ontario agriculture, including farm animals, farm families, animal care and modern barns. Terms of usage can be found on the library site.

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair – Bring country to the city ... this agricultural show is held in November at the Coliseum/National Trade Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

School group programs are offered each week day that the fair is open.
